Payment and Cancellation policy for Bay and Bush Wellness Retreat
- A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking*. The outstanding amount owed is due three (3) weeks prior your arrival. Excludes promotion and packages.
- Cancellations and date changes more than 21 days from date of arrival are subject to a $500 cancellation fee.
- Cancellations with less than 21 days notice will or no-shows and/or incomplete stays will be charged for the full value of the booking as well as extras added to the booking such as food hampers, spa treatments for example but not limited.
Only after payment of the deposit is a booking confirmed. We recommend travel insurance in case of illness.
*There is a 2% surcharge for AMEX card payments
All cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellation fees apply to any and all circumstances.
COVID-19 affected bookings:
Should a government mandated intrastate or interstate travel restriction, lockdown be enforced that prevents you from travelling on your booked date or if you are experiencing Covid symptoms and are required to test and isolate (a PCR test certificate will be required) we will move your booking to a future date within 12 months, with no penalty. If you do not have a future date in mind, we will hold the amount paid as credit to be used within 6 months. If you wish to cancel your booking, our full cancellation fee will apply.
If the Property becomes unavailable for occupancy due to unforeseen circumstances (eg. fire, storm, damage, double booking) the we will inform you immediately and endeavour to obtain suitable alternative accommodation failing which, any money paid will be refunded in full.
We reserve the right in Our absolute discretion to cancel Your booking at any time due to unforeseen circumstances which affect in any way Our ability to deliver Your booking and/or services associated with Your booking. A total refund will be made via SecurePay or EFT within 48hrs of cancellation.
If the retreat does not go ahead due to insufficient numbers, all non-cancelling participants will be refunded in full.
Photographic content will be captured discreetly and unobtrusively over the retreat which will be used across our Website and Social networks. Please let us know if you would prefer not to be photographed or used on these platforms.
Terms and conditions policy
Check in and Check out time
Please refer to the retreat program for check in and check out time. Early arrivals may be granted upon request, based on availability. An additional fee of up to 100% of one night’s room rate may apply for arrivals before 2pm. Guests checking out after check out time for the retreat will incur a full night fee.
All accommodations and public spaces are 100% non-smoking. A $500AUD cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who violates the smoking policy.
Pets aren’t permitted at Bay and Bush Cottages.
The number of guests permitted to occupy a Cottage is limited to its stated capacity and failure to adhere to this will mean a charge of $150 per person per night and / or immediate cancellation of the booking with no refund..
Guests are not allowed to hold parties in accommodations. A noise complaint will result in eviction from the complex without a refund. If Security personnel or the Police are called to a noise complaint a charge of $500 will be payable.
Full night charges for the entire stay will apply for early departures.
Guests must be 18 years or older with photo identification to reserve a room. No guests under 18 are permitted during a retreat.

Collection of your personal information
There are many aspects of the site which can be viewed without providing personal information, however, for access to future Bay & Bush Cottages customer support features you are required to submit personally identifiable information. This may include but not limited to a unique username and password, or provide sensitive information in the recovery of your lost password.
Sharing of your personal information
We may occasionally hire other companies to provide services on our behalf, including but not limited to handling customer support enquiries, processing transactions or customer freight shipping. Those companies will be permitted to obtain only the personal information they need to deliver the service. Bay & Bush Cottages takes reasonable steps to ensure that these organisations are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations in relation to the protection of your personal information.
Use of your personal information
For each visitor to reach the site, we expressively collect the following non-personally identifiable information, including but not limited to browser type, version and language, operating system, pages viewed while browsing the Site, page access times and referring website address. This collected information is used solely internally for the purpose of gauging visitor traffic, trends and delivering personalized content to you while you are at this Site.
From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will use for these new purposes only, data collected from the time of the policy change forward will adhere to our updated practices.
Accessing Your Personal Information
You have a right to access your personal information, subject to exceptions allowed by law. If you would like to do so, please let us know. You may be required to put your request in writing for security reasons. Bay & Bush Cottages reserves the right to charge a fee for searching for, and providing access to, your information on a per request basis.
