The White Sands Walk is a mesmerising trail in the Jervis Bay National Park on some of the whitest sands in the world. As you go, keep your eye out for wildlife sightings and glimpses of the aquamarine seas.
The walk begins at Greenfield Beach picnic area in Vincentia, a short drive south of Huskisson on Jervis Bay. You’ll pass a series of gorgeous beaches including Chinamans, Seamans and Hyams beaches, with easy-to-follow directions telling you about the native flora and fauna.
Visit some of the Shoalhaven’s finest Wineries
Take your time and venture a bit out of the Jervis Bay area and into the Shoalhaven where wineries abound for some wine tasting. Pop into places like Two Figs and Coolangatta Estate to sample some fine local wines.
Take a stroll through the grapevines and grounds of the wineries and enjoy fresh local produce at Coolangatta Estate restaurant. Don’t forget to purchase a bottle or two of your favourite vino to take back to your holiday cottage.
